Brief Answer:
Atony of the uterus possibly

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service.
I read your query and here is my advice.

What happens is that she seems to be having uterus atony a loss of tone of uterine muscle. The uterus doesn't contract properly during labour leading to bleeding and clots.

Doctors use oxytocin a hormone that is produced during labour to increase contractions and shrink uterus and its blood vessels. Since bleeding stopped you don't have to worry any more.

Of course, as you've mentioned, she needs blood transfusion since she lost lots of blood after checking the haemoglobin levels.

Hope I have answered the question.

They put balloon in her which said needs to be in for 24 hours. She has catheter in and is extremely uncomfortable, in pain and itchy

She had elective c-section due to complications after last delivery

They ripped her apart by strongly pulling baby out of her with forceps

She developed terrible UTI the doctor ignored her symptoms

Eventually ER kept her and the infection traveled to her kidneys, enlarged spleen , never had normal peeing

Could this be from c-section

Is the discomfort she’s having tonight after delivery normal with balloon and catheter?

I am very frightened and so is she

Good news is she has two healthy, beautiful chikdren

Brief Answer:
She needs antibiotics as prevention.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear.
I understand her situation.
The pain is as a result of c-section and of course of the balloon but it is necessary in order to compress blood vessels.
She also needs to take antibiotics in order to prevent possible infection.
I think she also needs to keep catheter for next 24 hours till she becomes stabilised.
I think she will be better in next 24 hours.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
