LMP GA Is 07 Weeks, 1 Day. Early OBS Scan
Question: LMP GA is 07 weeks, 1 day. Early OBS scan showing mean sac diameter 18mm corresponding to 05 weeks 04 days and single yolk sac seen measuring 3mm. Fetal pole and cardiac activity not yet identified. Today doctor given HCG injection and asked to come for next week to give next dose of HCG. After 2 weeks suggested to followup scan. Is this normal? When can I see heart beat? What is the need to take HCG injection?
