Brief Answer:
There is very little possibility if any .don't worry

Detailed Answer:
HI,
Hep B and C can be transmitted by blood products.Howe'ver this needs mixing of blood from the infected person to other to transmit it .For example if a needle or razor cuts or pierces the person who is infected ( and so is contaminated with his blood ) and then pierces other person then there is a chance of tranmittimg the virus ;Even with this only 3 to 6 out of hundred people would get it.
Regarding nails scratch ( as his nail was not stained with his blood ) the chance is extremely low .So you don't need to panic about that. you are very likely safe.
Also you didn't mention if the person was known to be positive or you couId not follow him ???
So I understand the chance is negligible ad you can just relax .Howe'ver there is no harm in getting vaccinated against hep B for future specially if you are at risk like living in area with high prevailance of hep B (Asian papulation ) or having family member of the disease or working in hospitals.
Hopes it's clear to you now .Let me know if you ahve anything to ask more about it .I would be glad to answer your questions.
Kind regards
Dr Rahman
