Well they are hardly materials in the hospital that are hazardous materials (as you term it) stored but rather they could be chemicals or drugs that if used the wrong way could pose seriously hazardous effects on the body.
Sterilization equipments and chemicals turn to have some hazardous properties. Chemical reagents stored in the lab are hazardous but hardly emit radiations that could be XXXXXXX In x-ray departments, they are hazardous materials, but those are restricted areas, the effects from there will hardly be felt in other hospital areas.
Is there a particularly reason for asking this question as regarding a particular health situation?
