May need further evaluation.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for your question.
Noted your concern

Creatinine of 1.98 denotes kidney injury.

In such a case I may suggest -
- Detailed physical examination.
- Investigation like
Complete Blood Count
HbA1c
Lipid Profile.
Serum Electrolytes, Uric Acid
Urine examination.
Fundoscopy by ophthalmologist for retinopathy
Ultrasonography of abdomen and pelvis for kidney.

Kidney injury may be due to long standing diabetes, blood pressure problem, drugs, infections, Kidney stones.

Follow his treating diabetologist.

Hope this helps.
