Question: Hi Doctor,

Me and my wife had a unprotected sex 14th night and she taken the I-pill in 15th Morning around 10'o clock.
Still there is no actions of the tablets.

Is there any specific time for tablet to work? Her monthly period cycle is 17 to 20th. Last she go her periods on 17th, This time she telling there is no symptoms like that.
Please help to clarify.

There is no way that you can see the action of the pill.
Generally when taken within 24 hours of unprotected sex, it is 95 % effective in preventing a pregnancy.
Also, it can cause delay in periods.
So please relax, as such the date on which you had unprotected sex was close to her next period, so chances of ovulation are very low.
I do not think there is any risk of pregnancy here.

Hi Doctor,

Still, there is no working from the tablet.. usually how long it will take for tablet to work on the things??

She is very serious about periods now..... please suggest.

You cannot see the working of the tablet in any manner.
The pill in fact can cause delay in periods, that is a known side effect.
So there is no reason to worry.
