Is Medication Available To Control Snoring?
Question: Hi. My husband is 31 yrs of age and he snores a lot. Is there any medication for this?

1. weight reduction (if he is obese).
2. Evaluate with ent surgeon for ent examination (deviated septum, allergic rhinitis, turbinate hypertrophy), laryngoscopy (tongue size, tonsil hypertrophy) to know the site of obstruction, x-ray chest (copd, asthma). Treatment can be started as per the findings.
3. Steam inhalation (to clear nose or sinus secretions, to clear the airway).
