Brief Answer:
if immunized or previously infected or no blisters then no problem

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The shingles vaccine would reduce the chance of future episodes of shingles significantly.
It would not affect your present acute attack but will help with any future issues.

In terms of your nephew's wife, it would depend on if she has ever had chicken pox or has been immunized against chicken pox by the vaccine.
If either of these has occurred, then she can come safely because she cannot get an infection.

If she is not immunized, it may be best for her visit to be delayed till you have recovered from this acute event if you are still in the blister phase.
If you do not have any blisters then you are not contagious and she can still come

The virus is spread by contact with the blisters.

I hope this helps ,feel free to ask any other questions
