Is It Possible To Sever Spinal Canal At L3?
Question: In 2006, I had a posterior L5-S1 spinal fusion. Pain did not subside. I had both sides of the hardware removed. No relief still, but new MRI revealed a fracture in the L5-S1 fusion that was unable to be seen with the hardware still in. In 2010, I had spinal fusion redone via anterior/posterior procedure. No relief still. Had left hardware removed- no relief. In 2014, I was diagnosed with Arachnoiitis in the L4, L5, S1 region.

Is it possible to cut or sever the spinal canal at L3?
Brief Answer:
L3 canal stenosis decompression can be done surgically.

Hello,
I have studied your case.
Arachnoiditis can not be treated with surgery but L3 canal stenosis decompression can be done surgically.
You can take electro stimulation for arachnoiditis.
You need to take urgent treatment as this pain may worsen without treatment.
