Question: Hi My newborn (Born the 24th) opens his one eye more than the other. It is like he prefers to have only the left eye Open. Is this normal

It is not normal unless the right eye lids have sticky discharge

Detailed Answer:
Hi... opening only one eye is not normal. If there's a sticky discharge in the right eye, it's understandable. But if nothing like that is present, them I suggest you consult your pediatrician to rule out -
1. Congenital ptosis of right upper eyelid.
2. Facial nerve neuropathy.
