Question: I have dilated bile duct which was discover in Pet scan following Hodgkins Lymphoma treatment. My oncologist has asked that I follow up with endoscopy, which I did...no obvious causes were noted. The endoscopy was intense, a and I do not want to do that again. Brief Answer:
I will say with no symptoms, no need for further testing!

Detailed Answer:
HI and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this rather asymptomatic finding discovered while doing exams for other reasons. There is no orison for more follow up explorations when initial findings were negative and you have no symptoms. I will suggest you stay calm and do nothing about this. This is an incidental finding and should not take the central stage for further aggressive and not indicated. Your symptoms of difficult urination cannot be explained be a dilated bile duct and should not be used as reasons for any further explorations.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be. Above all, thanks for using our services.
