Question: You've answered my questions before, about the same patient. My wife was treated for DVT back in March of 2015. This was the result of severe dehydration brought on by an olanzapine overdose. A screen was inserted in one leg, and she was discharged on a warfarin regimen. The dose was never steady, matching shifting INR values. Lately, though, she is in considerable whole body pain; sometimes the pain is localized in the back and legs, and truthfully, she is very much couch-bound-it seems she only get comfortable on the couch. Could it be that she is developing a resistance to warfarin?

Its not always be due to warferrin resistance.

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
Pain and couch bounding is not due suggestive of warferrin resistance.
If her INR remains low then it is due to warferrin resistance. But if her INR is in between 2 to 3 then its ok. She needs painkillers. No any change with warferrin is needed.
