Question: Good afternoon. I noticed a few weeks ago that I have a pea size lump just inside my anus. it is not painful and it does not bleed. I am going to see a Doctor in a few days. just worries on the out come. any help?

Pea sized lumps that is painless and does not bleed in the anus can be due to one of the following reasons:
Cyst.
Thrombosed hemorrhoid.
Polyp.
Rarely carcinoma.

Hence the commonest cause is usually a benign so stop worrying at the moment and let us wait and watch for the findings on an actual examination.
