Is RDW Value Of 16.6% While Having Periosteal Osteosarcoma A Cause For Concern?

Question: Hi I was diagnosed almost a month ago with periosteal osteosarcoma and I am waiting on surgery. I had blood work recently where my rdw was 16.6% when just a month ago is was 14.3%. My mcv is normal and my mch and mchc is low. Everything else with my bloodworm is normal. Does this indicate that the cancer is spreading or becoming higher grade?
