Question: what is better for a 19 month old baby asthalin or NS solution for use in nebuliser

The answer to your question depends upon whether wheezing or bronchospasm is present. If there is cough but no wheezing, normal saline (NS) is enough, better in fact. But if it is associated with wheezing, asthalin half a respule along with 2 ml NS is better.
