Is Amoxicillin The Right Medicine For UTI?

Question: I am taking amoxicillin for a urinary tract infection but it does not seem to be clearing up Though this is just the second day Can I change to something stronger like Ampiclox without completing the initial drug?

First,amoxicillin is not first choice for urinary infections and cephalisporines,nitrofurantoin or ciprinol should be used. So I suggest to switch it to some of these.Also have urinoculture to isolate exact pathogens. Wish you good health
