Question: Im having lean PCOs,and i was taking metformin for fw months,,my last period was on 22nd March 2012,till now i have not got my periods,,its 50th day today...i tested pregancy,but it is negative,,im not sure wether im preganant or not...Please advie.

PCOS - polycystic ovarian syndrome cause irregular menstruation and metformin helps in regularization of menstrual cycle and it also helps in lowering BMI. Minimum of 6 months of regular treatment with metformin is required. Generally, urine test for pregnancy can be detected after 10 days of your first missed period.
I would also suggest you to get your Thyroid hormone levels.

Also exercise helps in regularization of your periods and try to avoid stressful situations if any.
