Question: I’m feeling numbness in my left leg where my vastus medialis is. If I pinch the skin, I can feel the pain but it’s tingly when I run my fingers across it. I think it could have been caused by some groin stretches I did last night

Brief Answer:
Can be due to nerve stretching or compression.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The numbness in the leg that you have is likely to be related to mild nerve compression caused by the stretching. This usually recovers on its own in few days. You can also get your vitamin B12 levels evaluated and start with proper supplements in case the levels are low. Take rest and see your intake of electrolyte rich fluids is sufficient. In case it is associated with any muscle weakness then do consult a neurologist for a proper examination.
I hope this answers your query.
In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.
Wishing you good health.
