Question: Im a 58 year old male, in good shape. I recently went to my optometrist for burning eyes. He told me my lids were puffy and i had a sinus infection and gave me drops to clear up the eye problem . While my eye problem has cleared up, my left eye lid is still puffy and i am having terrible neck pain on the left side on the back or nape of the neck. Can these 2 issues be related? I have no congestion no sore throat , can a sinus issue cause an issue in my neck ? This has been going on for weeks

Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service. I read your query and here is my advice.

I don't find this both issues related.
I don't think you may be having sinus infection since you no congestion, no blocked nose, no sinus pain.
I don't even think that a sinusitis can give neck pain or vice versa.
You possibly had a cogniuctivitis which is getting better with the usage of the drops you had.
Now possibly you developed another situation with your neck that can be either a muscle strain, poor posture or a neck spinal issue like spondylitis, arthritis, fybromyalgia etc.
You may need to do a x-ray of neck spine.
