Question: I'm 81. I feel tired a lot. Treated for. BP, thyroid . Many times BP is good. When tired it can drop to 90/55 but my pulse is about 100. This happens without activity. . I've had maze- cox procedure and no more fibrillation.
Doctors have checked me periodically but find no great concern.

salt change

Detailed Answer:
Welcome to ,' Ask a doctor service ,'
I have read your query and here is my opinion .
You should replace losartan hydrochlorothiazide with losartan .
As pulse rate is more , let the atenolol continue .
You should keep watch on tiredness level and blood pressure monitoring .
If possible , start monitoring BP at home , check at 2 times a day .
I am sure , you will get relief in 4 or 5 days .
Also start a multivitamin antioxidant combination .
I hope your thyroid status is normal .
If you have any further query then you can come back with follow up query .
With Regards , Dr Varinder Joshi .
