I Started Today Fine. Around 2:30, I Had Severe Abdominal

Question: I started today fine. Around 2:30, I had severe abdominal pain followed by a small BM, and have had fever and nausea since then. At 6, I used the bathroom and there was blood in my urine. Does this sound like a bug that will pass? I don't want to waste time and resources on a simple virus or UTI. But the blood with the nausea and pain is scaring me.

Yes, I'm on several medications. Gabapentin, naltrexone, escitalopram, lamotrigine, and buspirone, plus a fiber supplement. I've had bloody urine once before with a really nasty UTI, probably about 3 years ago. I have PCOS, IBS, and some mental health diagnoses. I have a family history of diabetes, but have not been diagnosed with it myself, although my blood sugar does drop occasionally - I keep snacks on hand to curb the issue. It's also worth noting that over the past few months I've noticed that it's getting more difficult to urinate. Where before it was just a matter of going, it now requires active effort, and is often uncomfortable. I initially thought I was getting an infection, but it never manifested and the discomfort sort of plateaued.

Hi,
Thanks for the additional information.
The bowel issue may be due to bug.
Take probiotic supplements, Tylenol for fever, Bentyl for abdominal pain.
Take BRAT diet (Banana Rice Apple sauce and toast). Include yogurt in your diet. Drink enough fluids to remain well hydrated.
Blood in urine symptom has to be evaluated. It is difficult to say whether it is due to infection or any other cause.
Urinalysis including a culture and ultrasound scan of the abdomen may be done.
