Brief Answer:
Investigations & cause-specific treatment/self-care would help

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Fever is mostly due to infection (bacterial/ viral), inflammation (a body defence mechanism to combat the cause). Fever 100- 102 degrees, with chills & sweating with fatigue & sweating occasionally- for 5 days needs to be investigated (as the automatically controllable fever goes away within 5 days... when it persists, it needs assistance in healing.)

In absence of (other than fever with chills & fatigue) specific symptom like cough, cold, urine symptoms ... it needs investigations to find the basic cause... like Blood (HB%, Tlc, Dlc, Esr, urine test, test for malaria, typhoid, X-ray chest or back & temperature record to find the possible cause followed by specific treatment of cause including suitable antibiotics.

Control of diabetes if it's there .. is essential to control the basic cause.

You need to take rest (avoid physical or psychological stress), eat light & nourishing food, drink a lot of fresh warm water, take tablet paracetamol & syrup B complex till then- for temporary relief.

You should consult your physician for detailed examination & needful investigations followed by specific treatment & permanent cure of the cause.

Thus proper examination, investigations, specific treatment with expert advise & self-care would help you out of the trouble.

Hope I have answered your query.
