Brief Answer:
Constipation after fissure and hommoroid surgeries.

Detailed Answer:
Hi....
Welcome to "Ask a Doctor" service.
I am Dr Ajeet XXXXXXX

I have gone through your query and here is my opinion.

You can take round the clock NSAIDs like paracetamol and acetaminophen for pain.
Such patients are advised hot sitz bath to reduce local inflammation, swelling and pain.

Cremaffin contains Magnesium Hydroxide and Paraffin (wax).
Paraffin is a laxative.
Cremaffin Plus has sodium picosulfate in addition to it and is a stronger laxative.
In my opinion, you should prefer it for a few days.

You should avoid constipation by.....

Taking rich fiber diet.
Having more of raw vegetables and fruits.
Keeping yourself well hydrated.
Having Papaya (It is a natural laxative).
Move around and be physically active.
Have probiotics.
Have prunes and resins.
Continue using Triphala husk.It is an osmotic laxative without any side effects.
Don't be sleep deprived.
De stress yourself.
Have commercially available stool softener which contain oils to soften the stools and ease their passage through the gut.

Hope that I have answered your query.
If you have any doubts, please let me know.

Stay healthy and stay blessed.
Regards.

Brief Answer:
Constipation after fissure and hommoroid surgeries.

Detailed Answer:
Hi....
Welcome back.

It is quite common for the patients who had an anal surgery to have such feeling of cut like excruciating pain, while defecating.
It is due to raw surface, laid open during the surgery.
Continue with a high fiber diet, drink plentiful water and do sitz bath.
It will go away very soon.

If skin does not regain it's shape after stretching, skin tags or folds develop.
As swollen and inflammed hemorrhoids heal and the engorged veins shrink, some skin may continue to remain stretched out and a skin tag persists.
Skin tags are painless, small and benign skin pieces.
They never bleed but may cause a bit of discomfort and itching.
Presence of skin tag does not indicate that your surgery has failed.

You can also use fiber supplement and Triphala with stool softeners.
You have to tailor your diet and laxatives according to your needs.
Primary motive is to avoid constipation and hard stools.

Yogurt and apple cider vinegar are very good probiotics.

Electral is usually used to replenish electrolytes (salts).
If you are not able to take plain water that frequently, you can add it also.
