Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to Healthcaremagic.com.

I had gone through your question I can understand your concern about your stomach upset.Very likely you are having inflammation in gut called gastritis.Due to inflammation the mucosa layer secrete large amount of mucus causing vomit to contain mucous.
Avoid spicy, oily, junk foods, aerated drinks,
Avoid late night drink and foods, late night smoking, you must not anything including water before two hours to sleep.
Raise your bed side at least four inches by using blocks under bed.
Take medication like pantoprazole 40 mg empty stomach early in morning and don't eat anything for half an hour after taking your medication.
Take any other over the counter antacid tablet like Digene twice.
Anti emetic like zofran 4mg can be taken sos for nausea.
