Question: I have been on Seasonique since 9th grade I was 15 I think. I am now 34. I’m still on it. I missed two pills but made sure to take them the second I noticed. I than had sex and the man finished inside me. Should I be worried. Also, when I get pap I always bleed they said my lining is very thin. Lately when I have sex and it’s pushed in deep I bleed. Should I worry about that.

Brief Answer:
Please get further evaluation.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.

I have gone through your query and would like to offer some information.

Though you have made up for the missed pills, the protection is reduced since you missed two pills. Please wait for your next period and if you miss it, go for further evaluation.

Bleeding after intercourse is definitely a cause for concern. If pap smear is normal, watchful observation is sufficient. If abnormal appearance is detected, appropriate management should be initiated.

Hope you find this information helpful. Please feel free to contact for further clarifications. I will be happy to help.

regards,
Shanti.V.
