I Am Taking Antibiotics ( Amoxicillin ) And Phenazopyridine Prescribed

Question: I am taking antibiotics (Amoxicillin) and Phenazopyridine prescribed by doctor , but for me Norfloxacin 400mg works better (past experience) . I have complete 6 doses of 850mg of Amox and it is working but very slow.

can I switch to it ? and what is the e equivalent of Citralka in the USA, Over the counter?

The problem is Urinary Track infection Symptoms started 3 days ago, medication started 2 days ago,
Symptoms - burning , dark yellow urine, urge to urinate and no control over urination and traces of blood in urine , had high fever and chills 2 times . Consulted Doctor 2 days ago and started with Amox. After starting Amox fever and chills have reduced. I am getting better but may be 10-15%. So want to know if I can switch to Norflox and stop Amox.

You can ask for Potassium Citrate preparation in any medicine outlet. Usually, these preparations are consumed by mixing in water. Take 10ml of the syrup two times in 100ml water.

I forgot to ask , can I take 800mg 2times or 400mg 3 to a day ? (I am 58 yrs old , My weight is 188 pounds and I am 6ft tall.)
