Question: I am 47 years old and seem to be pretty healthy. I have had a burning on the bottom of both feet for the last 3 days. The last time I was checked my fasting blood sugar was around 100 or so. I don't seem to have any circulation problems. It is just annoying.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I have gone through your query and here is my advice.

As per your history, there can be several causes for burning feet which should get evaluated.

Please let me know,
Do you have tingling or numbness over feet, weight gain, fatigue?

For further assessment, I would suggest you consult with physician for detailed clinical examination.

S/he may procure complete hemogram, thyroid profile, vitamin B levels, nerve conduction studies, venous doppler ultrasound SOS as per evaluation to rule out any other possibilities for peripheral neuropathy due to vitamin deficiency/hypothyroidism.

Further treatment mainly depends upon the underlying condition. You may require multivitamin supplements. Till then you can soak your feet in Epsom salt. Continue feet massage.

Hope I have answered your query...
Let me know if I can assist you further.
