I Accidentally Swallowed A 500 Mg Clomrimazole Vaginal Pessary. I
Question: I accidentally swallowed a 500 mg clomrimazole vaginal pessary. I made myself sick after but could not see the tablet however I had just had some soup. What should I do?
I am 41 And female

What would possible effect be? I found the following on the manufacturer website
“However, in the event of accidental oral ingestion, gastric lavage is rarely required and should be considered only if clinical symptoms of overdose become apparent (e.g. dizziness, nausea or vomiting)”
I also found an earlier answer on your website saying it didn’t need treatment :

No risk of acute intoxication is seen as it is unlikely to occur following inadvertent oral ingestion. There is no specific antidote. The treatment remains drinking lots of fluids and washing the medication out of the body.
However if the diarrhea continues for more than 24 hours then please contact a health care provider.

I feel fine at the moment not dizzy or sick and I have 2 children at home so don’t want to go to ER unless necessary
