Question: How to shut down dopamine d2 receptors immediately on demand without any side effects. I have tried anti nausea and risperdal but the side effects are bad. I need a strong and effective solution to stop dopamine production on demand by hook or crook. Its critical. Please help. Thank you. Male. 36.

Dear sir, I have gone through your question and I understand your concerns but unfortunately dopamine receptors are in control of body motions and emotions. This means that shutting them down will lead to serious unavoidable side effects such as hypotension, peripheral anticholinergic effects (i.e., dry mouth, blurred vision, constipation, urinary retention), central anticholinergic effects (i.e., agitation, delirium, hallucinations, seizures, and coma),increased prolactin level , decreased white cell count , jaundice, photo sensitivity and weight gain.
