Brief Answer:
Start montelukast and fexofenadine combination.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I can understand your concern.
First of all no need to worry for slightly raised AEC (absolute eosinophil count).
Usually it is significant only when it is higher than 1000.
In my opinion, you should start combination of anti histamine (levocetrizine or fexofenadine) and anti allergic (montelukast).
This combination should be taken once a day at night before going to sleep.
This will mostly reduce your AEC.
Vitamins and protein powder don't do anything for reducing AEC. So they are not indicated in raised AEC.
I want to know few more things.
1. Have you ever tried this combination?
2. Which things caused allergy in you?
Please reply me answers of above asked questions, so that I can guide you better. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.

Possibility of allergic rhinitis and asthma is more likely.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

By your symptoms, possibility of allergic rhinitis and asthma is more likely.
This needs intranasal spray containing steroid (fluticasone) and inhaled bronchodilators (formoterol or salmeterol) and inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) (budesonide or fluticasone).
So please let me know

Brief Answer:
This nasal spray is not good for long term control.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I can understand your concern.
This nasal spray is having oxymetazoline.
It is antihistamine in nature.
It gives only temporary relief.
Best for your symptoms is steroidal nasal spray.
Fluticasone nasal spray is first choice for allergic rhinitis.
It reduces allergic inflammation in nose, prevents long term symptoms and gives immediate relief.
So better to start fluticasone nasal spray.
Please let me know
1. Have you ever consulted ENT doctor?
2. Have you ever undergone PFT (Pulmonary Function Test)? This is to rule out asthma because asthma and allergic rhinitis often go hand in hand.
Please reply me answers of above asked questions, so that I can guide you better. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Get done PFT to rule out asthma.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I can understand your concern.
What was ENT doctor 's diagnosis?
Was it allergic rhinitis?
In my opinion, you should definitely start fluticasone nasal spray. This will definitely help you.
Also get done PFT (Pulmonary Function Test) to rule out asthma.
If PFT is showing obstructive defect then you will also need inhaled bronchodilators (formoterol or salmeterol) and inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) (budesonide or fluticasone).
This will reduce your cough.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
