Hi Doctor,

As advised by you, I am applying candid-clotrimazole cream and taking dexoderm 250mg twice a day.

Have uploaded recent pictures also as situation is really painful as of now.

Also please advise if there are any dos & don'ts

Brief Answer:
Regarding rash in axilla and on chest

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

The rash looks more of an infected eczema in the recent images. I would like to modify the treatment. I suggest you to use a clobetasol propionate 0.05% and neomycin 0.5% combination cream e.g either Tenovate Gn cream or Lobate Gn cream, twice daily for a few days.

In addition I suggest you to take an oral antihistamine e.g Tab cetrizine 10mg once every evening for symptomatic relief from itching. Since there is oozing as well, it suggests bacterial superinfection. In view of that i suggest you to also take an oral antibiotic e.g Tab. Cefadroxil 500mg (Tab Droxyl CV 500mg), twice daily, for a week). Let me know after 2-3 days of the above treatment.

Take care.

Hi Doctor,

There is quite good improvement in affected area. The affected skin has now dried up & redness has also reduced significantly.
Refer enclosed pictures, on edges of affected area, still there some acne/blister there.
1. Please advise if I continue with same medication for these small patches on edges.
2. Also advise if I need to apply some oil etc on dried skin

Brief Answer:
Continue with the medication

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

Continue with the same medication for a week. You can use a moisturiser e g Cetaphil moisturizing lotion, before applying the cream that i have suggested for the patches. Follow up after a few days.

Regards
