Brief Answer:

Oral antifungal medications like térbinafine is a suitable alternative

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

I have worked through your attached query in detail.

As per your clinical description, the possibility of recurring and resistant fungal infection is very high.

I generally prescribe oral medications of Terbinafine to my patients for 2 weeks with such symptoms.

This is in addition to the Topical agents like Clotrimazole/Betamethesone.

Please check with your physician if he shares my view and if can prescribe these medications to you.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Brief Answer:

Relevant dosage suggested

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

I generally prescribe an oral dose of 250 mg twice a day for 1 to 2 weeks to my patients with such symptoms.

Additionally one should not consume alcohol while taking these medications.

In a few susceptible individuals, this drug may produce jaundice. In such a scenario it's advisable to stop taking Terbinafine.

Hope I have answered your query.

Take care
