Brief Answer:
Even numbness of face is unlikely due to skull bone removal.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for being here again.

Of course, you must remain in good hope. His left arm strength will improve by exercises as I told.'Neuroplasticity'(you can google for the term) stimulated by exercises and physiotherapy will help him recover.

Further, even numbness of face is not due to skull bone removal and is likely due to brain damage due to shot. That will improve with time as well. Medicines like Pregabalin/methylcobalamin may help it to improve.(PLEASE TAKE MEDICINES UNDER A DOCTOR'S GUIDANCE ONLY).

Hope that helps. If you have any further doubts regarding the same,I shall be glad to have you in follow-up.
