Hi Doctor, The detailed medical condition is as follows: No Sugar No. BP Recent blood sample took is to check Sugar levels and is normal. Medications took so far: Our cardiac surgeon suggested us to get it checked with dermatologist for this issue and we were going to dermatologist from last 50days. Attaching the prescriptions provided by dermatologist. For would care, we use to clean the infected area along with wound with savlon followed by saline water and then application of neosprin 2 times and while. Sleeping one ointment. The wound is left open as suggested by dr as applying bandage is creating mpre. Infection. Today dr asked us to go. To general surgeon and seek his advice as the improvement is not seen and we have consulted general surgeon and got 1 prescription attaching but he just spend less than 2 minutes to check and asked to come back after 10days. We din find satisfactory in the way he consulted patient. Hence looking for someone who can clearly explain and guide us in appropriate way as we already spend around 80days + and the wound is still unhealed.

Brief Answer:

Histo-pathology of the skin adge - debridement with secondary suturing.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

The photo and prescriptions.
There are two non-healing wounds - 80 days is a long time to have such wounds.

The General Surgeon has written: not willing for ASD - what was the advice that you are not willing for.

Local debridement with suturing and a piece of wound edge sent for Histo-pathology may solve the problem.

Please discuss this with your General Surgeon or take the second opinion of another General Surgeon and go for definitive management.

Local applications and oral medications are not helping anyway.
I hope this answer helps.

Please give feedback once you take the second opinion and go for definitive management.

Hope I have answered your query.

Take care

Regards,
Dr T Chandrakant, General Surgeon
