Brief Answer: There are adverse effect, try sparing regime Detailed Answer: Hi .. XXXXXXX Welcome to healthcare Magic! The medicines Actiq(fentanyl) hydromorphone are examples of typical opioid pain killers. They are great pain controlling drugs but have risk of physical dependence, respiratory depression, constipation and drowsiness. After prolonged use one can become totally dependent on these medicines. There are other good medicines like tramadol and paracetamol and neuropathic pain relievers like pregabalin which may have opioid sparing benefits in pain control. You should give a reasonable trial to these medicines under supervision of an expert local physician. We are paid a part from the charges paid by the user to the Healthcare Magic I hope the advise would be informative and useful for you. Take Care!
