Question: Hi,
whenever I am back indoors after being under the sun for a while; my skin on both hands starts feeling itchy.
and I now see white patches on both my hands. it has happened in the past also and it healed by itself.

Hello and welcome to ask a doctor service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Perhaps you have Hives. Hives are itchy wheals with a surrounding flare. Changes in body temperature like when you come indoor ls from being out in the sun can induce hives - cholinergic urticaria/ hives.

I suggest you use a soothing lotion e.g calamine lotion. In addition, I suggest you take an oral antihistamine e.g cetirizine 10mg tablet once a day for a few days.
