Brief Answer:
Rule out infection

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

From the history it looks like you are having an infection. Do you have any foul smelling discharge? If so get a direct check up with a Gynecologist. If you spend more time in foreplay you will get more lubrication which will prevent burning sensation or else you can use LUBIC GEL before sex. Also, check your partner regarding infection.

Feel free to ask your doubt with more details. I hope my answer helps you.

Regards

Hello Doctor,

Thank you for your response.

I would like to inform you that I have been having a healthy sex life with my partner for last 7 months and have had enough natural lubrication. We have never felt the need to use a lubricant.

Also,I have not noticed any secretion or smelling discharge. I feel the burning sensation is in the the opening of vagina.Typically,it is looking normal, though opening looks slightly reddish or inflamed.

I don't feel any pain while urinating.

Please advice what to do about this.

Thank you

Hello Doctor,

Thank you for your response. I would like to inform you that i could see a small cut from razor which I got before a month and has been almost healed . But I think it is not completely healed.

Could this be the reason for burning sensation?

Further I also could see that you had mentioned about using a gel. Please tell me the exact name and also is it safe to use in sensitive areas? Also how many times to use the same.

Thank you

Brief Answer:
Need not rule out allergy

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Red discoloration recently started? If so find out the reason. It can happen due to some allergy also. You can use cotton briefs or liners inside brief. Since no foul discharge acute infections may not be there. You can try applying clotrimazole and clindamycin containing gels twice daily. Don't apply soap inside vagina. Try doing this for a week.

Regards

I was mentioning about Lubic Gel which is very safe to supply even inside vagina. Antibiotic ointment can be applied over the reddish and burning area. You can try Candid Cl gel.
