Brief Answer:
Suggestions on breast feeding

Detailed Answer:
Hello... thank you for asking a query here.

To improve your lactation you can take Capsule Lactare 1 thrice a day for 1 to 2 months.

It is very much physiological for all the babies to lose 10% of their birth weight and gradually regain this wait by 10 or 14th day.

My suggestions for the baby are that you feed the baby every 2 hours once and in between if the baby is crying every 1 hourly.... first try to console her by lifting the baby up and soothing her.

I am telling this because every time a newborn baby cries it is not feed and it could be for human comfort and touch and also for mother's voice smell and sight.

So a mother feels that tge baby is crying for milk due to inadequate production and this stress will decrease the milk production even more.

Even with this if she is not coming down then you can use formula feeding if mothers feed is not adequate.

But if the mother is having dripping of milk from one breast when she is feeding from the other breast and when on exclusive breastfeeding if the baby is gaining weight appropriately and urinating 4 or 6 hours once, that means that mother has got adequate milk production.

Another important concept to keep the baby's stomach full is the concept of foremilk and hindmilk.

Fore milk which is the initial part of breastfeeding is sweeter to make the baby latch on well and the milk which comes from the last part of the feeding is rich in fat which is called hindmilk which will make the baby stomach full and also help the baby gain weight.

So my suggestion is that when you are feeding the baby it is best to feed two times consecutively from the same breast (so that both foremilk and hindmilk are fedd to the baby well) and then when feeding from the other breast again 2 times consecutively.

Try this for two weeks and you will definitely find good results.

Hope all these suggestions help!
