Question: Hi, a couple of months ago my girlfriend was suffering from constant dizziness which eventually passed and hasn't happened in a while, I thought it was because she wasn't eating properly. After making her eat regularly it went away . She also tends to get headaches when she's feeling anxious, and occasionally along with these headaches she gets a sudden change in personality for around 20 minutes until I show her pictures of some of her old pets and seems to go back to normal, and doesn't remember anything that happens in that time. She also collapsed a few months ago but the doctors thought that was due to allergies and she was also covered in small spots/lumps. I'm just worried in case she has a problem with her brain. She's claimed to have has mpd for a few years (although not diagnosed) but I've only seen evidence of that recently. I've tried to cram in as much information as possible, if you have any further questions just ask :)

Brief Answer:
Imaging is mandatory

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I understand your concern and this is my opinion based on the information you provided and in the absence of an in person physical examination. The symptoms your girlfriend is experiencing could be due to an array of conditions, varying from simple vertigo and anxiety induced headaches to seizures or brain masses and the only way to make an accurate differential diagnosis is a complete neurological examination followed by an EEG (recording of the brain activity) and an MRI. Ruling out serious conditions is the first step towards getting the right treatment for these symptoms.

So I recommend to get her to see a neurologist. I hope this answers your question. You are welcome to ask any further questions you might have.

Take care.
