Question: Hi,
My mom underwent full body checkup.
The report shows that there is some problem in eosinophilia and Thyroid..

Eosinophils - 13.2% (reference 01-06)
Absolute Eosinophil count- 0.9 ( reference 0.04-0.44)

Thyroid
T3, total - 0.81ng/ml (reference 0.87-1.78). Please look at reference image..
We want to reduce these two problems using home food and ayurvedic medicines.
Please provide a way how we can control these problems.
Thanks,
Alok

Detailed Answer:
Dear
Thanks for contacting with your health concern and after reviewing your health query I’m of the following opinion:

1. Although eosinophil count is on higher side but not alarming so check for any parasitic, allergic or side effect of medicine ( if taking any).

2. Please let me know about her age and any medical history?

3. T3 evaluation should be done periodically for any metabolic disorder since it can affect blood values.

4. Do revert back with your clarification for further necessary treatment.

Thank you for replying. My mom age- 50 Years She had eosinophilia problem around 6 months back. She took homeopathy medicine and it controlled at that time. She usually sneeze, breathing problems and cough sometimes. we came to know about thyroid now only. Do we need some treatment for T3?

Brief Answer:
following necessary clarifications

Detailed Answer:
Dear
Thanks for reverting back.

1. as there was a problem of eosinophilia [6 months back], kindly see a Pathologist/ Hematologist to confirm the cause of the same, whether
- it is allergic [as symptoms of asthma/allergic rhinitis are there].
- parasitic [as hookworm, filariasis, ascariasis]
- medicine [ use of drugs like aspirin, nitrofurantoin, sulphonamides, iodides] or
- malignancy.

PS. As allergic features are more prominent you may initially consult a Medicine or ENT doctor.

2. low T3 with normal T4 and TSH, nowadays is referred by the term ESS [euthyroid sick syndrome] or low T3 syndrome, so consult an endocrinologist and do exclude any long term chronic illness [STRESS] which does cause low T3 before thinking of any modern/ alternate treatment.
