Brief Answer:
Hormonal imbalance

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for your query.

Suh delay or low flow periods can occur due to hormonal imbalance. Hormonal imbalance can occur due to numerous causes, common among is stress or medications.

If you are on any medications, do revise them or take an opinion from your treating doctor to make sure that none cause such disturbances.

Also, other gynecological causes like ovarian cysts, endometriosis etc has to be ruled out by an ultrasound scan which can give good information about any sort of structural impairment in the reproductive organs which can lead to such delayed or low flow period.

Hope, I answered your query.

Wish you good health.
