Question: Hi, I in month of october , suddenly in night I felt my mouth is dry, I was detected with granular pharangytis it took me two to three month for recovery and during the course i was diagnosed with geographic tongue, Though most of doctors say that it is harmless , however i felt unconfortable due to it , please let me know is there any possibility of recovering from it.

Hii. Welcome to the health care service. Geographical tongue can be due to vitamin b12, folic acid and iron deficiency. You can start betadine or chlorhexidine gargle. Take vitamin b 12 and folic acid supplement. Add some vitamin c rich food in your diet like lemons, citrus fruits. Take more fluid, juice. Maintain oral hygiene. Avoid alcohol, smoking.
