Hi and Welcome to Ask A Doctor service. I have read your question and here is my advice.

Yes this may be withdrawal of the drug , but as you are already on too low dose of mertazipine , and doing this for 1 month we may need to think of other causes as well.

Such things to occur commonly and most of the times are not serious .If you have light headedness, I would advise you should check your blood pressure , pulse and sugar. If these are normal then it's quite re assuring that nothing is serious .

There may be many causes for it and if otherwise you feel fine we dont need to worry specially if your BP and pulse are normal. For instance this may be caused by yours drugs , or some bad food can cause similar symptoms. you are right this may withdrawal effects of mertazipine. Menses can also cause you feel nauseated and light headedness. causes are too many .

So I would advise that if your BP , pulse is fine , and you do not have any fever , you can just wait for things to settle.Take more fluids and deep breathing. you can also some antacid and anti emetic like gravinate if needed. I hope this would be fine. if it didnt settle , you can always see you doctor for more evaluation .

Hopes this help you understand your query. let me know if you have any further question. I will be glad to answer your questions.
kind Regards Dr Rahman
