Question: Hi. Both of my parents were killed in a car wreck a few months ago and I have not been handling it well.
On Sunday, I took about 7 shots in a short amount of time and blacked out. When I woke up, about 10 75 mg Lyrica capsules from a sample that my doctor gave me for nerve issues that arose after I was treated for Lyme disease (the Doxycycline is for acne) were gone. So, 750 mgs of Lyrica mixed with seven beers. I vaguely remembering eating them. I have no tolerance built up, and I understand Lyrica is a CNS depressant. I also believe I took some Kratom as my bag was out and open in the morning.
Do I need to worry about some kind of "sub-death" respiratory depression/hypoxia (whatever the term is) causing a stroke or some kind of hypoxic brain damage? Should I go to the hospital? GP?
My speech is not slurred. My face is not drooping. I can raise both arms to the same height. Memory seems a little worse than usual, though that could be the hangover.
And I know I need help, I know it was stupid; that conversation is for a different day. I don't know if I got suicidal or what, but usually I do not get intoxicated to excess.
