Question: Hi- I have a question regarding birth control pill called Yaz. I was just prescribed this by my doctor. I struggle with very bad PMS - where I am extremely uncomfortable, bloated, heavy periods and bad mood for 2 weeks prior to my period, followed by a week long period, and it is all very difficult. I cannot deal with the water retnetion, it has me very depressed to be 10 lbs heavier for half of the month and i know it is all my hormones. I am really hoping that this medication will help. Please let me know thoughts, will it help me lose weight? Will it help me with PMS? I don't want to become anxious which is what I keep reading about it. Thanks. It is generic Drosperinone.
