Question: Hey Doc. Generally helathy - Ramipril - BP. Stator 10 - cholesterol - Nexium - GERD. That's what I take and mainly for family history. I had my gallbladder removed a year and half ago stones. Ok now my issue I was in XXXXXXX for ten days and had mainly spicy food which I can't. I left XXXXXXX yesterday and my urine was a little burning and not emptying all the way , I went to the doctor today and he did an ultrasound on my Kidney's, checked my prostate and bladder. He said my prostate is normal but small. He sent for a blood test PSA, CRP and Urine. Could this be a UTI? just asking because I am not worried about anything else. I also had my vaccine against Covid Phizer two months ago. Thanks Regards Aryeh

Brief Answer:
Mostly It is UTI.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for query .

Based on the facts that you have posted you are facing problem of burning urination since two days after you returned from XXXXXXX after a flight journey for 30 hours .

It is most likely to be UTI due to reduced water intake during journey .

Get your routine urine test and urine culture done to find out the organisms causing this infection and antibiotics to which they are sensitive to.

Take broad spectrum antibiotics like Cefixime along with urinary antiseptic like
Nitrofurantoin twice daily and urine alkaliser thrice daily .Later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report.

Ensure to drink more water to keep your urine dilute .This will help to reduce dysuria.

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions ,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards .

Hey Doc I was drinking alot of water so I don't think it was the water intake as my Urine was almost completely clear. I was eating Spicy food which I can't as I am very sensitive to this. Could this be why my Urine was burning? I don't know , just guessing:) Thanks Aryeh
