Brief Answer:
Viral infection. Please wait a few more days for recovery

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for using the 'Ask A Doctor' service.

I have gone carefully through the details and understand your concern. Most often such symptoms are due to viral infections which usually have an allergic component associated. I have checked the given reports and they are ok, indicating a possible viral cause. Irrespective of treatment it usually spontaneously resolves in 5-7 days.

Treatment is supportive and usually comprises of antiallergic medication and mucolytic. Irrespective of these medicines it is their own immunity that helps in the resolution of the infection.

If your child is otherwise active and playful, I would not be concerned. If not, it would be a good idea to visit a doctor and to get the child evaluated.

I hope that I could clear your doubts.

Feel free to write back.

Brief Answer:
Due to a number of viruses

Detailed Answer:
Viral infections are due to a huge number of viruses that are always there around us. They affect us when our immunity is low. Children are especially affected. 5aking colourful fruits and vegetables enhances immunity. No specific precautions except for general health measures. No extra medication needed.
