Brief Answer:
Muscles strain, herniated disk, pleurisy to consider.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to 'Ask a Doctor' service.

I have read your query and here is my advice.

In my opinion, your symptoms (this type and distribution of pain) may be caused by conditions such as muscular strain (intercostal muscles), thoracic spine herniated disc disease, pleurisy (inflammation of lung coverings).

Since these symptoms are triggered by certain movements, muscular origin and herniated disc disease are more likely conditions.

However, it is necessary to get evaluated clinically and by imaging studies (thoracic CT scan or MRI) in order to get a specific diagnosis.

It is okay to use Ibuprofen for symptomatic relief right now, you can use also heat pads, further treatment depends on the diagnosis.

Please discuss with your Doctor for these issues.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.
