Question: Hello, So My last menstrual cycle was January 25th-29th 2020. I then had intercourse the 31st. Since then I have not had another menstrual cycle. I did go to my campuses clinic and took a pregnancy test that tested negative on March 4th. However, I have yet to receive my menstrual cycle yet. I have experienced symptoms such as nausea and tender breasts and loss of appetite. However, I am also overweight and recently began exercising. I’m not sure if it’s an ectopic pregnancy or simply stress related delayed menstruation

Brief Answer:
Pregnancy not likely.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concerns.

If your pregnancy test is negative on March 4, then pregnancy is ruled out. You can repeat a pregnancy test to confirm it further. The delay in periods can be due to stress or a hormonal disturbance caused by being overweight. You can wait for your periods or consult a gynecologist for prescription of hormonal tablets to get a withdrawal bleeding.

Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow-up queries that you may have.

Wishing you good health.

Regards.
