Brief Answer:
Please provide the details, urinary test will be helpful

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for asking on this platform

I have gone through the query and do understand your concern.
Itching in urinary area in female child is commonly due to infection(bacterial or fungal) , allergy to soap, tight clothing (increased sweating with wet skin) or worm infection.
Mupimet contains mupirocin an antibiotic and it will not help much in any of the above conditions.
I would like to know if she complains of itching in anal area also or you have noticed any worm(white pinworm). Also tell me about the duration of problem and if it is Recurrent. In urinary infection usually there is difficulty in passing urine and there may be associated burning sensation.
I would suggest you to use loose cotton cloth instead of tight one. To maintain proper hygiene like cleaning from front to back to avoid contamination from anal area. Avoid using soap as this may be a cause.
I would like to get one urine test done to rule out any urinary infection. You may give deworming agent in suspicion of worm infestation after consulting your pediatrician.
If there is any urinary infection oral antibiotic or antifungal will be needed.

I hope this helps.
Please let me know if you have any more questions.
Regards

Brief Answer:
You may apply mupirocin to prevent secondary infection

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for following up

You may apply mupirocin ointment to prevent secondary infection in the abraded skin. Giving hydroxyzine or Cetirizine may help in relieving itching to some extent. But the underlying cause should be treated.

I would suggest you consult a pediatrician for proper evaluation of the cause.

Regards
